We used a new yoga book today "Fly Like A Butterfly"  In this book, a story is told and the children act out the parts through yoga poses which are re-named to go along with the story.
First there are warm-up poses then the story poses. Today's story was The Yoga Mountain:
"Once there was a tall beautiful mountain"
"This mountain had tall, tall trees on it"
"Now on this mountain lived a very beautiful bird"
"Down in the valley, there was a town. The town had many people in it. The people heard that there was gold up on the mountain, and they wanted it for themselves. So they began running up the mountain as fast as they could."
"Once they got to the mountain, they picked up their axes and began chopping the mountain to get the gold inside"
"The mountain became smaller and smaller as they chopped it"
"The beautiful bird was sad when she saw what was happening to the mountain. She had an idea that could help the mountain. She began flying high in the sky faster and faster, higher and higher, searching for a special cloud to help her"
"She found the cloud- a big, gray rain cloud. The rain cloud was happy to help the mountain. It puffed itself up until it was as big as the mountain"
"The rain cloud began to blow a great wind. The wind got stronger and stronger"
"Thunder began to roar, and lightening began crashing down onto the mountain"
"The storm crashed on the mountain. Huge boulders were torn from the mountain and came rolling and tumbling down"
"When the huge rocks began falling on the people, they began running home crying, "Let's get out of here! Let's go home!"
"When they got home they said, "We will never bother that mountain again! It is too dangerous!" So now the mountain is once again strong and tall, and it is the home to many animals, including the beautiful bird"
