After everyone went home tonight, I was watering the hanging plants on the porch and dead-heading the flowers. One pot had this yucky looking pile of leaves in it and I went to pull them out. Then something made me decide to turn the planter around and sure enough! It is a bird's nest! It has 3 white eggs inside!!

One year a Carolina Wren made her nest in the flowers in the windowbox outside the living room, so I am thinking it is her. I will keep a lookout. Now we have 2 nesting sets of birds!! This is exciting :-)
