It is exciting to see our seedlings and we've still lots more seeds to plant, so today we filled the sensory bin with the seed starting mix and made sure it was all moist and ready for seeds. It was a great sensory experience besides the wonderful texture was that great earthy smell. They were delighted~ and laughing happily~ to have such dirty hands!
We read some new books donated by Daniel's mom Kathy-- thank you Kathy!-- "The Hens and the Peacock" and "Duck Means Business" were great stories and the kids enjoyed them :-)
Addison and Charli brought their books to share today and we read about Belle and Cinderella too :-)
We almost got outside but it started to rain before we were ready, so we did some yoga.No pics though, sorry.
The kids enjoy taking turns being teacher and Addison showed us a wonderful arabesque, Lelia did her "Princess" twirl, and Brendan had a great balancing position on one foot, with arms and leg extended which reminded me of the Karate Kid :-) And which I could not do as well as him! lol
