Friday

The morning dance. Alanah chose the Nutcracker
Alanah enjoys classical music she also loves Peter and the Wolf and
often requests hearing Beethoven Slept Upstairs at rest time
Phaedra saved her shawl from yesterday

The blue Cinderella dress has become an obvious favorite for Alanah!
                                                       Breakfast

                                              Arriving at the playground

Lelia kept saying "Ahoy" as she spun the wheel

We brought along a light snack of cheerios and spring water

Lelia spiraling down from a few rungs up

Lelia did this 3 to 4 times, other than her foot getting hung up she was a pro!

Phaedra spiraling down from the top

                                               "We're taking a rest"
The girls decide to take a lap around the play structure area

Today we had banana strawberry smoothies at breakfast for a treat.
After Alanah went to school we walked to the playground. We played 20 questions, Phaedra chose a rainbow, some of her clues were "colors in the sky"
and "when you have rain and sun".  We also played Rapunzel at the playground. Before leaving we picked up all the litter- empty water and gaterade bottles- and threw them away. so it looked nicer and we helped take care of the environment.  A bonus was a big puddle near the trash can, we threw sticks and small rocks into it and watched the ripples and listened to the sound they made.  At the bus stop, we listened to "Closer to Fine"  :-)  Lelia enjoyed singing "I love you a bushel and a peck, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck" She also walked all the way to the playground and 3/4 of the way back! Phaedra did the whole trek as usual :-)

Joey with a big, happy hello for his Dad
                                           Phaedra in the convertible
Joey lifts the car onto a "block" improvised
                                          from the sidewalk chalk box
Now it is up in the air and can be worked on :-)
