B~ cheerios, strawberries, banana smoothie with vanilla and cinnamon
L~ Pork roast (Dave called it ham- don't ask me why) fresh, cooked broccoli and Kraft mac and cheese
S~ English muffins- (some with butter, some with pb & honey, and some with honey) fresh peaches, filtered water

Our first graders-- just a few more weeks!- have been practicing their sight words, also Phaedra, Joey and Alanah were all trying to read books on their own! It is exciting to see their interest in reading growing!

Coloring coffee filter rings to make the Olympics symbol. I saw the idea online but t was a bust, they were just too flimsy

It was fun to share the info about the Olympic rings though- the colors are blue, black and red across the top, yellow and green under. They symbolize the first 5 major continents in the games: Africa, Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia

Many of the kids decided to be pirates today. Alanah, Phaedra and Joey- their latest trick is holding the three swings together and swinging simultaneously :-)
