Today was Jack's first day! What a sweetie, we are all in love :-)
I cleared off the porch this weekend and brought in some riding toys, plus we have a new inchworm ride-on toy which they enjoyed using. I am leery of getting outside and having the toddlers pull their mittens off immediately when we get outside so I want to utilize the fresh air and gross motor activity we can get on the enclosed porch.
I brought in snow for the sensory table- amazingly it has not melted yet!- it is a fun sensory activity and we talked about some polar animals. I also thought it would be a great way to get the toddlers used to keeping their mittens on in the snow~ and at least if they took them off we'd be in a warm house.

Lelia had an armload of playdoh toys that she was putting away. each time she'd get the drawer open to put them in, Ivy would shut it- like 4 times! Lelia was nice and patient but a bit exasperated by the last time |
