We've had a great day. I have the Lion and the Mouse book and found a large lion puppet for loan at the library. Today we read the book again and played it out using the lion and a felt mouse- the proportions were great :-)  We also read Bear Feels Sick and we compared how in both stories the friend needed help and then was able to return the help- I hadn't planned it that way but it sure worked out well! :-)

I saw an idea on Pinterest using colored plastic cups on the light table, so I got some this weekend and the kids have loved stacking them! They are disposable cups so we have to watch for breakage, but I am pleased with how much they enjoyed them. And, yeah, they are shot glasses lol

We also had a Montessori morning, some days when one child asks to use one of the materials, they all want to, and today was one of those days. I am glad when they use them. :-)
If it were not for the really small parts I would have them out at their level, as they get older I will try that.

I was reading a book to them and I had to get a photo of how they looked: Charli in the goggles, Ivy with the stethoscope that she wore most of the day, and Addison with the lion puppet

We added a balloon to bounce around in the parachute
